ABOUT COACH GABEL

Mike Gabel is founder and co-owner of True Lacrosse. From the time he first picked up the sport as a child in Massachusetts to his professional experience playing Major League Lacrosse, Gabel has dedicated himself to mastering the game. A 2005 graduate of the University of Vermont, Gabel was the 2003 NCAA Division I record holder for saves. He was also named the defensive MVP in 2003 and 2005 at the University of Vermont. Gabel and his fellow MLL teammate Jake Deane founded True Lacrosse in 2008 to provide their vast experience and knowledge of the game to young players across the country. In that time, Gabel and Deane have helped countless young people improve their skills and continue playing the game at the collegiate level.

ABOUT COACH DEANE

Jake Deane is founder and co-owner of True Lacrosse. Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Deane was introduced to the sport at a young age and dominated as an LSM and face-off specialist throughout his collegiate career at the University of Massachusetts. The All-American holds the single season ground ball record at the Division I school. In 2008, Deane and his fellow MLL teammate and friend Mike Gabel founded True Lacrosse with the clear vision and mission to help young players in the Chicago area improve their skills and knowledge of the game, and continue playing the game at the collegiate level. Since that time, Deane and Gabel have brought True Lacrosse to young people across the US and Canada.
